2016 Artists / Vendors:
Amy Kowalzek, Kowalzek Salves – Amy and her family have been beekeepers in Morrison County for over 15 years. Her products are all natural and contain no additives or fillers. Amy’s product offerings include creams and salves, beeswax and beeswax products, honey, soap and oils! 4 Angels is thrilled to welcome Amy to the 2015 Outdoor Holiday Market! Ann Kellington, Annie’s Aprons – Ann made an apron for her mom, Karen, and from that point forward she was hooked! (Karen’s is now nicknamed a “baking blouse” as she wears it so much!) Annie’s Aprons are reversible – you’re getting two complementary looks in one apron! Each is hand sewn of 100% cotton material, which is “easy care,” standing up to time after time of washing and drying – kids and adult sizes available. Also available this year are table runners and mug-rugs, as well as beautiful baby blankets. Come see what’s what!
Becky Erling – In Becky’s words: “My creations take root in my passion for gardening. Years ago, I began by making a sandcast of a large rhubarb leaf for a birdbath, using concrete as my medium. In the last couple of years, my art has expanded to include small table-tops, lazy susans, trivets and coasters, as well as bird baths. Each piece is original and hand-made with leaf or flower impressions from the garden. Hand stained, painted and sealed, no two are alike. All pieces are created for outdoor use, but are pretty enough for indoors as well.” Becky is new to 4 Angels’ Outdoor Market – we are happy to have her join us! You will be able to find Becky sharing space with Deb Levens – a two-for-one tent!
Deb Levens, Deb Levens Jewelry – Deb Levens Jewelry Design has been evolving for over ten years. It began with her daughter’s wedding and has taken on a life of it’s own. Deb’s design style is always changing but consistently reflects the understated elegant look that she her customers love. Deb uses sterling silver, natural stones and gems, leather and beads in her work. Gorgeous!
Karen Kellington, Karen’s Kards – Karen has been hand-making her cards for several years, each one a piece of art. Treasures of the past, such as handkerchiefs from the 50’s and 60’s, are an anchor of her cards, perfect for any occasion. Karen hand-selects the pieces she uses on each card, and aside from the 4 Angels’ Holiday Boutique, takes special orders for cards for Christmas, Birthdays and Multi-use. Each piece is one of a kind, and made with the love and care that only Karen can give. Karen’s been working on some new items that are a must-see!
Krista Gordhamer, Independent Artist – Krista’s stained glass has both function and beauty. Krista makes crosses and ornaments, as well Gazing Globes for the garden, colorful dragonflies and butterflies, and even some recycled wine bottle bird feeders, vases and various pieces of religious art.
Lindsay Christianson, Zoe Violet – Lindsay has been selling her crafts since the birth of her first daughter (Zoe Violet, now 7-1/2). Her first love is the felted wool pixie hats she has made from the very beginning, but her collection has expanded to include hair accessories, toys, kids clothing, and other miscellaneous items. She especially enjoys upcycling materials and repurposing items to give them new (much more exciting) second lives. The result? Quirky, adorable items for all of the ridiculously fun people in your life! Look for wool hats, wool ornaments and other miscellaneous gifty goods! This year, Lindsay will be bringing wooden spoons and spatulas handcrafted by her husband, Dave, and seed bombs and other miscellany crafted by her daughters!
Maria Hall, El Rastro MN – El Rastro! – Holiday shopping fashioned after the El Rastro of Madrid, Maria offers an eclectic variety of things to choose from. All hand-made, all made with love. Take a look – you’ll like what you see!
Nina Guertin, 4 Angels Creations – Nina has been working with clay since 1999 and specializes in two- and three-dimensional angels and crosses for wall hanging. In her daily work, prayer is at the center, each piece of art prayerfully made in the hope that it will be a conduit of healing, harmony and peace for the receiver. Nina also makes Hot Betty Comfort Packs, soaps, essential oil sprays and other items promoting health, comfort, and positive thought.
Pam Sweetman, Pendants by Pam – Pendants by Pam was founded several years ago after Pam had created so many fused glass pendants and discovered other people enjoyed them as much as she did. Glass fusing was her first addiction, followed by copper enameling, followed by bronze clay, followed by metal stamping and new this year – stone and metal combined to attain a gorgeous look! Pam feels the stone and metal together tend to give a feeling of strength and beauty much like the women who purchase her pendants, and she feels blessed that people have been so supportive of her beautiful creations. Come see Pam’s unique designs of pendants, rings, bracelets – each one of a kind made from glass, metal, rock and leather.
Rosanne Novak, Decorative Wooden Sleds – Rosie makes beautiful wooden sleds decorated with a vintage / rustic look to fit with your style of Holiday decor! Wood is painted or stained and the sled tops are decorated in old vintage or nature prints. Pieces are approximately 8-1/2″ x 18″ and light enough to hang on your door, lean against a fireplace, or accent your wall or tabletop. New to 4 Angels this year, we are excited to present Rosie’s Holiday sleds to you!
Shelly Kramer, Fairy Houses by Shelly – Shelly started creating fairy homes to connect with the fairy realm. Enchanting fairy homes are made of wood, sand, shells, precious stones, heirloom pieces, cold porcelain, copper and mortar. Made with healing energies, they are a gateway to the fairy realm. Place in your home or garden and an enchanted forest will come alive! Shelly also creates light catchers to bring in light, love and dreams for those who dare. Shelly can be reached at Shelly Kramer!
